It Started With One Poodle

Eight Weeks, Deliberately Spent
Nothing about the first eight weeks is left to chance. Here is what happens, week by week.

Weeks 1 - 3 — The whelping room
Born in our bedroom and monitored around the clock. Daily weight checks, gentle daily handling, and early neurological stimulation from day three.

Weeks 3 - 5 — Eyes open, world opens
Weaning begins, and so does the noise. Household sounds, different surfaces underfoot, new textures and objects introduced every few days.

Weeks 5 - 7 — Manners and machinery
Crate introduction, first potty routine, nail trims, a first bath and blow-dry, and their first proper grooming session so the clippers are never a shock.

Week 8 — Cleared and going home
Full vet exam, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, and an honest temperament read on each puppy so we can match them to the right household.
What We Will And Will Not Do

- Health test both parents before breeding
- Share full test results with buyers
- Raise litters inside the home
- Place puppies at eight weeks, never earlier
- Take a dog back at any point in its life
We never
- Breed a dam on back-to-back seasons
- Sell through brokers, pet stores or third parties
- Ship a puppy unaccompanied as cargo
- Guarantee a colour, size or coat before birth
- Place a puppy in a home we do not believe in
