Apply to the waiting list
Start with the application. It asks about your household, your schedule, your yard and your experience with dogs. There are no wrong answers — we are matching temperament to household, not grading you. Most applications are answered within 48 hours.
-
Have a real conversation
We will call or video chat with you. This is your chance to ask us anything — health testing, contracts, grooming costs, what a poodle is genuinely like to live with at 6am. It is also our chance to make sure a poodle is actually the right breed for you.
-
Place your deposit
A $300 deposit holds your place in the litter order. Picks are offered strictly in the order deposits are received, so your position is never a matter of who asks loudest. The deposit is applied in full to the price of your puppy.
-
Wait for the litter
You will get birth announcements, weekly photos and video as the puppies grow. If the litter is smaller than expected or does not include what you were hoping for, you keep your place and roll to the next one — or take a full refund of your deposit.
-
Choose your puppy at six weeks
At six weeks, temperaments are clear enough to match honestly. You pick in person or by video call, in deposit order, with our read on which puppy suits your household. We will tell you if we think you are choosing the wrong one, and why.
-
Balance due at seven weeks
The remaining balance is due one week before pickup. We will send the contract, the health guarantee and the parent test results to review and sign at the same time.
-
Going-home day at eight weeks
Plan on an hour with us. We go through feeding, crate routine, grooming schedule and the first vet visit, and you leave with the paperwork, a puppy pack and our phone number. Book the vet exam within 72 hours to keep your health guarantee active.
Be Honest With Yourself First
A poodle is a fifteen-year commitment and a genuinely high-maintenance coat. Before you apply, make sure you are comfortable with all of this:
- Professional grooming every 4 - 6 weeks, for lifeRequired
- Brushing at home several times a weekRequired
- Daily exercise and mental workRequired
- A dog that wants to be with you, not alone all dayRequired
- Budget for food, vet care and insuranceRequired
Ready When You Are
The application is the first step, and it commits you to nothing.
