Price depends on size, colour and pairing. Contact us for current pricing on the litter you are interested in, and we will give you a straight number with nothing added at pickup.

The deposit is $300 and it applies in full toward your puppy's price.

It is non-refundable if you simply change your mind, and fully refundable if we cannot supply what you reserved. You can also roll it forward to a future litter at any time. Full terms are on the deposit page.

Joining is free. Litters are announced to the list before they are advertised anywhere else. When a litter is on the way, families on the list are invited to place a deposit, and picks are then offered strictly in deposit order.

You can, but we would rather you did not choose on looks alone. At six weeks we give every family on the list an honest temperament read on each puppy. The boldest puppy in the photos is often the wrong one for a quiet household, and the plain-looking one in the corner is frequently the best dog in the litter.

We do not ship puppies unaccompanied as cargo, ever. You are welcome to fly in and take your puppy home in the cabin, or we can discuss a ground or flight nanny at your cost. Most families drive.

AKC registration paperwork, age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, a microchip registered to you, a vet health certificate, a written health guarantee, copies of both parents' health testing, and a puppy pack with food, a blanket that smells like the litter, a toy and a written schedule. Plus us, for the life of the dog.

Both parents are DNA panel tested for prcd-PRA, von Willebrand Disease Type I, Degenerative Myelopathy and Neonatal Encephalopathy, and OFA evaluated for hips and patellas, with annual CAER eye exams. Results are shared with every buyer — see Meet Our Poodles.

Our written guarantee covers life-threatening congenital and genetic defects. It requires an independent vet exam within 72 hours of pickup and that the dog is kept on reasonable preventative care. It does not cover accident, injury, neglect, or conditions caused by poor nutrition or missed veterinary care.

No dog is truly hypoallergenic. Poodles shed very little and trap dander in the coat rather than releasing it, which is why many allergy sufferers do well with them — but the allergen is in saliva and skin, not only hair. If allergies are a real concern, spend time with an adult poodle before committing, not just a puppy.

Toys and miniatures commonly reach 14 to 17 years; moyens are usually 12 to 15. It is a long commitment, which is exactly why the health testing matters.

Professional grooming every four to six weeks for the dog's entire life, plus brushing at home several times a week. This is the single most underestimated cost of poodle ownership. A poodle coat does not shed out, it mats — and a matted coat has to be shaved to the skin.

Somewhere between eight and eighteen months, the soft puppy coat is replaced by the adult coat, and for a few months the dog mats overnight no matter what you do. It ends. Brush daily through it, keep the trim shorter, and call us — we have talked a lot of families through it.

Generally yes, and ours are raised around both. Temperament varies within a litter, though, which is why we match rather than let families pick blind. Toys are more fragile around small children; moyens and miniatures are usually the better bet for a busy family.

Very — poodles are among the most trainable dogs there are, which cuts both ways. They learn your bad habits as fast as your good ones, and an under-stimulated poodle invents its own hobbies. Plan on daily mental work, not just a walk.

Please do. Book a meet & greet, in person or by video. We ask that you have not visited another breeder or kennel the same day, for biosecurity, and we do not allow visitors to litters under three weeks old.

Yes, for all pet-home puppies. We ask that you follow your vet's advice on timing rather than a fixed date, since early spay and neuter has real trade-offs for joint development in a growing dog. Breeding rights are a separate conversation.

It comes back to us. At any age, for any reason, at no charge. No dog we bred should ever end up in a shelter or on a rehoming site — that is a condition of every contract we sign, and an offer that never expires.
